Intervention for older adults with memory complaints and vascular risk factors (AIBL Active study)

This is 36 month follow-up assessment of 24-month intervention trial that evaluates the effectiveness of physical activity in delaying the progression of cognitive decline and cerebrovascular disease (as measured by brain imaging) in dementia-free participants of the AIBL cohort. The AIBL Active trial, which is now in its final year, achieved to date very high cohort retention rate (90%), and provides an opportunity to identify longer term outcomes of PA on cognitive health and cerebrovascular disease.
